Ryzen 5 9600X3D AMD to come, Ryzen 5 9600 & Ryzen 9000 Pro Desktop CPU has been confirmed through the latest drivers.
AMD Preps Ryzen 5 9600X3D, Ryzen 5 9600 & Ryzen 9000 Pro Desktop CPU, launched through the first SIS at 2H 2025
The latest information about the upcoming Ryzen 9000 AMD desktop CPU has leaked in the latest “Si Driver for Radeon” release, and is seen by X users, Melodicwarrior. In the driver, AMD included several unlected desktop CPUs such as Ryzen 5 9600X3D, Ryzen 5 9600, and Ryzen 9000 Pro series.
Starting with a chip that everyone will be excited to hear is AMD Ryzen 5 9600X3D. Ryzen 5 9600X3D will be the most entry-level V-Cache V-Cache option in the Ryzen 9000 path, and will open the way for more gamers to adopt the next generation Zen 5 and AM5 platform. As for the specifications, this will display 6 cores, 12 utas, and one CCD with 2-V-Cache 2 technology, offering 64 MB Cache with a total of 96 MB L3, which will lead to several impressive performance and game values. CPU is likely to maintain TDP and Clock similar to Ryzen 5 9600X.
There is also CPU Ryzen 5 9600, which has been out for a while, although this chip is now being sent in the system integrator segment. Chip packaged 6 cores, 12 throats, clock speeds up to 5.2 GHz, and 32 MB Cache L3 with a 65W TDP rating. This chip is mostly aimed at OEM and Sis, which is one of the reasons we see a little or no DIY list or CPU box, even though it might change in the coming months.
And finally, there is the new AMD Ryzen 9000 Pro Desktop CPU. A total of four CPUs have been registered by AMD, which include the Ryzen 9 Pro 9945, Ryzen 7 Pro 9745, Ryzen 5 Pro 9645, and Ryzen 5 Pro 9400. Now we cannot say for sure whether this is based on the “Granite Ridge” CPU design or something different. Note that AMD will launch the next generation APU lineup later this year, but this chip is not registered with the suffix “G”, which is used to represent APU.
As for the launch, Melodicwarrior said that the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X3D might regarding the DIY segment between the end of Q3 and the beginning of Q4 but will be available with SIS first. AMD also immediately launched the Ryzen 7 9700F CPU, which we report here, so many Zen 5 actions will soon go to the AM5 platform.
