While it doesn’t make sense, yes, if you use the term “ignore” in Google right now, you’ll get broken search results, and it’s pretty funny to see, especially since this error appeared days after the I/O 2026 keynote, when the tech giant introduced an AI-powered version of Google Search.
Google misinterpreted the term “ignore” as an instruction rather than a search query, and unsurprisingly, the company received criticism
While standard search results, such as term definitions, appear at the bottom, the space below AI Overview is only filled with black and white, depending on whether you have dark mode enabled or not. When we typed the same term in Microsoft Edge, we got a lot of search results, which suggests that the problem originates from Google’s side.
The results are the same on Google Search whether you view it from a desktop or smartphone, with varying responses, even though the results are the same. For example, searching for “ignore” will give you the response “Message ignored! Let me know if there’s anything I can help you with,” and if you refresh the page, you’ll be greeted with “Message ignored. How can I help you today?”

A third attempt will give you the result “Understood. I will ignore the previous request or order. How can I help you today?” and on the fourth occasion, Google’s AI Overview will say “Understood! Let me know if you need help with anything else.” What’s interesting about these results is that if you “ignore” on Google, you’ll get the same response, and while we’ll laugh about this, AI Overview will eventually be fixed.
However, this should serve as a reminder of the downside of incorporating AI into search results, and now that companies are joining the race, there’s no stopping it. At the very least, these errors should be addressed as early as possible.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
