The US may put grip on Chinese companies from utilizing the latest manufacturing processes from TSMC, but according to the latest rumors, this export control has not affected Xiaomi, which should be on the track to launch its first in-house chipset later this year. However, while we reported last year that the company is scheduled to uncover SOC 3NM, especially in 2025, we are disappointed to learn the specifications of this version that will take advantage of the ‘N4P’ TSMC process. According to more clearly, this silicon will not use homemade nuclei like Qualcomm has adopted for Snapdragon 8 Elite.
