The report suggests that following a visit to Saudi Arabia, Ubisoft president, Yves Guillemot, approved the development of DLC for AC: Miragewhich was not originally Ubisoft interested. Ubisoft has partnered with Savvy Games, who will be a key contributor to the project.

The game was originally designed to be a DLC in itself and was supposed to continue the Valhalla storyline, but ultimately made its way to the gaming market as an individual installment. The game launched in October 2023 but hasn’t received a single DLC since then. Hence, it is quite surprising that the shadow launch is quite close.
