Well, Team Red’s latest graphic architecture does see changes in the company’s release schedule relative to the previous generation, because we not only see the Discrete GPU dropped to the market a little slower than usual, but until now, we have not really seen the announcement of the RDNA 4 to the path to the mobile segment. The Red team said in the past that they had plans to release the RX 9000 laptop series GPU, and it seemed that the company had begun to prepare them, such as @All_the_watts has shared a list of GPUS laptops RX 9000 series RX 9000, and they really look attractive.

It is claimed that the upper level model in the RDNA 4 laptop segment will be RX 9080M, displaying Silicon Navi 48, along with 64 computing units (CUS) and 16 GB memory. Another variant in the Navi 48 cellular family is the Radeon RX 9070M XT, which is said to have 48 Cu features and 16 GB of memory. Both of these models are expected to lead AMD to the laptop market and are likely to function as colleagues to the NVIDIA 70-class and 80-class GPU, but the performance of this variant is uncertain for now.

Next is the Radeon RX 9070 M/S model which is more “medium”, which will be part of the Navi 44 series, display 32 cus along with 8 GB of onboard memory. Finally, the low-to-middle segment including the Radeon RX 9060 M/S variant, displays 28 Cu and 8 GB of memory, so it is clear that the Vram Baseline for the RX 9000 Series laptop model will be 8 GB. However, taking this rumor as a salt is important, given that the details around the RDNA 4 cellular model are quite uncertain for now.

AMD relies on RDNA 3.5 architecture for Apus such as Strix Halo and the upcoming Medusa Point series, so in the integrated GPU segment, we will not see RDNA 4 in the near future. However, for the AMD Radeon 9000M Mobile GPU lineup, we expect the opening in the near future, possibly at Computex 2025, where we will also see the debut of the Radeon RX 9060 Discrete GPU lineup.
