Nacon’s Cyanide, Spiders, and Kylotonn Studios Have Reportedly Paused Payments and Placed Under Acceptance Amid Bankruptcy Filing

It seems things are going smoothly for the French publisher Nacon just a few weeks ago. On February 23, studio revealed its annual event Nacon Connection showcase will return with news and reveals about what the publisher has prepared for the year. Two days later, the studio’s outlook for 2026 looks very different filed for bankruptcy after its parent company, Bigben Interactivehad a financial crisis leading to it, and Nacon was short of options.

Although the publisher has released a statement meant to reassure players that it will ensure its current lineup of games for this year will be released and into the hands of players, and that its Nacon Connect show will return at some point in the future. May 2026, other reports add a darker cloud to the company’s current situation.

According to the French publication Origami, three Nacon studios, Cyanide Studios, Spiders, And Kilotonnhas temporarily stopped payments to its employees and has done so under curatorship. Acceptance of cyanide also has a domino effect Big Bad Wolfthe studio behind the future Cthulhu: Cosmic Abyss.

Overall, approx 320 game developers affected by the four studios’ new status, and their future, as well as the possibility of their games being released, is more in question than ever.

The most recent release of cyanide was this year Styx: Blade of Greedwhile racing developers Kilotonn have tried to fix it Solar Crown Unlimited Trial. Meanwhile, Spider the team launched version 1.0 Greed: A Dying World earlier this month on March 10, 2026. Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss developer Big Bad Wolf is the only team still working towards an upcoming release date, as The Cosmic Abyss will arrive on that date. April 16, 2026.

But now, the future of these developers, and their games, both announced and unannounced projects, is in limbo. Hopefully, Nacon will get back on its feet soon, and we won’t see one of France’s biggest publishers plunge into liquidation.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
